Distribution Talks #2 - Use restrictions

Over the past two years, the Distribution Law Center received various questions on the new Vertical Block Exemption Regulation. 

In response to those questions the Distribution Law Center launched this brand-new newsletter “Distribution Talks”, aiming to address the queries, common issues and concerns suppliers and buyers of products and services face in their daily practice in a crisp and straightforward manner.

As you may recall, our first issue focused on online platforms, more specifically whether a supplier can restrict independent distributors from selling its products to online platforms that intend to distribute the products themselves. In this second edtion we focus on use restrictions, a hot topic at the moment, as many producers are keen to know whether such use restriction amounts to a prohibited customer restriction.
