Distribution Talks #1 - Online Marketplaces

Following the publication of the DLC Countdown on the new Vertical Block Exemption Regulation, the Distribution Law Center is pleased to introduce its brand-new newsletter “Distribution Talks”.

It’s time to get practical. The new rules are well-known by now. However, what are the questions, concerns, or problems suppliers and buyers of products and services are facing today, and which do not have ready-made answers?

The Distribution Law Center has collected such questions over the past two years and will now compile them in this quarterly publication. However, do not expect a long and in-depth legal analysis. A DLC expert and a business professional will discuss a variety of topics from daily practice in a crisp and straightforward manner.

This first issue of Distribution Talks deals with online platforms, a hot topic that was thoroughly tackled under the new regime. It examines whether a supplier can restrict independent distributors from selling its products to online platforms that intend to distribute the products themselves.
