Distribution Agreements and Competition Law provides a detailed overview of the competition law framework governing distribution agreements and other vertical arrangements under both EU and Swedish law. In addition to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and the Swedish Competition Act, the key legislation covered includes the EU Vertical Block Exemption Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2022/720. The book contains extensive references to legislation, case law and legal scholarship, and offers practical guidance on a wide range of legal issues and agreement types commonly encountered by businesses in their day-to-day operations. It also includes a general chapter on Swedish commercial contract law relevant to distribution agreements and other vertical arrangements.

Distribution Agreements and Competition Law forms part of a European project coordinated by Belgian lawyers Frank Wijckmans (Faros) and Filip Tuytschaever (contrast), who are the principal authors of the book’s EU law core. Fredrik Lindblom and Sanna Frånlund (among others) have prepared this updated Swedish edition. They practise at Advokatfirman Cederquist.

Similar books are published in the local language in Belgium, Cyprus, Greece and The Netherlands.
