In addition to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and the Swedish Competition Act, the key legislation covered includes the EU Vertical Block Exemption Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2022/720. The book contains extensive references to legislation, case law and legal scholarship, and offers practical guidance on a wide range of legal issues and agreement types commonly encountered by businesses in their day-to-day operations. It also includes a general chapter on Swedish commercial contract law relevant to distribution agreements and other vertical arrangements.
Distribution Agreements and Competition Law forms part of a European project coordinated by Belgian lawyers Frank Wijckmans (Faros) and Filip Tuytschaever (contrast), who are the principal authors of the book’s EU law core.
