Irena Gajewska appointed partner at Modzelewska&Paśnik law firm

The Distribution Law Center is delighted to announce that Irena Gajewska, one of our coordinators for Poland, has been promoted to Partner at Modzelewska&Paśnik law firm. Irena's expertise in competition law has been a vital asset to the Distribution Law Center, helping us to achieve our mission.

Irena, a legal advisor with nearly 15 years of experience in national and EU competition law, has been with Modzelewska&Paśnik for five years. She specialises in advising businesses on all aspects of competition law and represents clients in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, as well as in court cases related to decisions made by antitrust authorities and in private enforcement proceedings.

Before joining the firm, Irena worked for 9 years at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, where she led investigations into anti-competitive practices and directed searches at businesses. As a representative of Poland, she actively participated in the working groups of the European Competition Network (ECN) and the OECD Competition Committee.

Irena is a graduate of the University of Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Pau in France.

The Distribution Law Center congratulates Irena on this well-deserved promotion and is confident that her commitment, expertise, and passion for competition law will continue to benefit both her firm and her work with the Distribution Law Center.
